Factorial, the Barcelona-based HR and business management software company, raised $150 million in a Series D round announced on June 3, 2026, led by General Catalyst and valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The financing makes Factorial one of the most valuable scale-ups in the European Union.
Founded in 2016 by Jordi Romero and Bernat Farrero, Factorial provides an AI-first platform that spans HR, finance and operations for more than 14,000 companies. Chief executive Jordi Romero said the round reflected investor confidence in companies rebuilding their products for the AI era rather than adding AI features to existing software.
